Wishing For a Snow Day

Good gosh, its late.

Decided I can't just let my strength leave like that even though its midterms, so I had to do something, even if its not much.

Diamond Pushups

White jerseys are in, they run a bit larger than the black ones since the material is different and lighter.

Cockiness in Ultimate

Confidence is powerful but subtle, while cockiness is often based on an inflated or false sense of your own abilities.

Confident players in Ultimate bring out the best in the other players. A confident player is someone whom when the disc goes up, the team can trust him to come down with it. Confidence allows a player to believe in himself to make the right decisions that are best for his team, and not for personal glory.

Cocky players, on the contrary have a tendency to make harsh, illogical decisions. Cockiness is usually from an overabundance of confidence that may or may not be in proportion with ones abilities. Cockiness in Ultimate leads to bad hucking decisions, half-assed offense, and especially half-assed defense.

Our team has been very cocky lately. Pre-season hype is useless. Head your heads out of the clouds and hit the weights. Theres no reason for us to be arrogant until we take that trophy at NJ. So how about we stop with the smack talk and work on our game.
